    Statement of Faith
The goal of a Statement of Faith is to articulate about your faith walk. It may be helpful to consider past challenges, experiences that have deepened your understanding/love of God, and moments when you were most aware of the intimacy between you and God. Here are a few questions meant to stimulate ideas:
    1. Define the Gospel. What do you understand the ‘good news’ to mean for you, humanity, creation?
    2. Who do you believe God to be? Are there events, scriptures, or practices that inform your beliefs?
    3. Describe a moment or experience that challenged your understanding of God? How did you persevere through that? What have you learned about God through that experience?
    4. Describe your faith journey. How does this inform how you currently understand your relationship with Christ?
